Architectural Control Board application form

Use this ARC request Form & Instructions.

When you submit the Architectural Modification Request Form, the board also requires the following documentation from your contractor:

  1. Copy of Contractor’s License
  2. Copy of Contractor’s Certificate of Insurance

Include: General Liability and Workers’ Compensation the CERTIFICATE HOLDER name must read as follows

Please note: Worker’s Compensation Exemption is not permissible, unless it is only one person who will be doing the work.

If it is a landscaping request, please consider that the more information provided: photos of intended design, placement of plants, photos of plants/trees/shrubs, stones and mulch, where you are able to provide a visual to the Board, is greatly appreciated.

Drawings, design and product information must be attached.

Yardley Estates Guidelines for Home Updates

For the home improvements listed below, an ACB form needs to be completed and approved before work can begin. Download and mail our ACB Application to our manager.

Paint

The ACB has a color book that offers a selection of colors for your home, trim, and garage door. These color options are also displayed on the website. If you would like a color different from the options provided it must be approved by the board. The house and trim cannot be the same color. House colors cannot  be the same as any house within four houses on the same side of the street or across the street. This includes a shade above or below the color choice within the four-house distance.  

Front doors / Garage / Trim

Your front doors and garage doors may either be your trim color or one of the choices for the doors in the color book. New front door designs and new garages must be approved. 

Roof

The roof style choice is barrel tiles. The colors are located on our website. Your roof cannot be the same as  the two house surrounding your property.

Fences

Fences may be metal or vinyl. Wood fences, chain and wire fences are NOT allowed.

Driveways

Driveway materials can consist of brick, pavers, stamped concrete, or travertine tiles. Driveways may NOT be painted.  

House Numbers

House numbers should be located on the side or above the garage. The size should be between 3” to 9” in height. This is a city ordinance

Outdoor Lighting

Outdoor lights need to be metal, black, espresso, or white in color.
